What makes this role different

You will operate at the core of a large-scale database ecosystem , working across multiple technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and environments (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).

This is a role for someone who wants to move beyond execution — into technical ownership , decision-making and real impact on platform evolution.

Your impact

• Lead complex database initiatives : migrations, performance optimization and reliability improvements
• Own high availability and disaster recovery strategies across critical systems
• Act as a technical reference in major incidents , root cause analysis and service evolution
• Define and evolve database architecture standards across heterogeneous environments
• Drive the adoption of new database technologies and reduce legacy dependencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, DevOps, application teams) on design decisions
• Improve observability, automation and operational efficiency across the database landscape

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience as a Database Engineer / DBA / Database SRE in complex environments
• Strong knowledge in several of the following: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerized ecosystems (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Proven background in high availability, disaster recovery and performance tuning
• Experience working in multi-site or distributed environments
• Ability to take ownership in critical situations and communicate with stakeholders
