Key Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms in Spanish and English, ensuring strict adherence to community standards and content policies.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate harmful, abusive, or policy-violating content including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, and spam across social media channels.
• Apply consistent, well-reasoned judgment to complex trust and safety cases, balancing user rights, platform integrity, and legal compliance within the social media environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to user reports and appeals related to content removal, account actions, and digital safety concerns submitted in Spanish.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional trust and safety teams to monitor emerging online threats, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and platform manipulation trends.
• Maintain accurate documentation of reviewed content, decisions, and escalations in internal case management systems in accordance with quality and compliance standards.
• Participate in regular calibration sessions, quality assurance reviews, and training updates to ensure alignment with evolving social media platform policies.
• Contribute proactively to team efforts aimed at improving moderation workflows, safety tooling, and the overall health of the social media community.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Spanish language proficiency — both spoken and written — is essential for this role; English communication skills at a working level are also required.
• Valid EU passport (mandatory for relocation and employment eligibility purposes).
• Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or a related digital operations role within the social media or technology industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle sensitive, nuanced, and sometimes distressing social media content with professionalism and resilience.
• Excellent attention to detail, a high degree of cultural awareness, and sensitivity when evaluating Spanish-language content across diverse social media communities.
