PR Coordinator (12month FTC) (H/F)

Job Overview

UNIQLO is a leading global apparel retailer and we are recruiting a PR Specialist Coordinator (12‑month FTC) to join our local market team in Barcelona, with regular travel to Madrid. The role reports to the Head of Marketing & PR for Spain and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to build brand awareness, cultural relevance, and community engagement across the Spanish market.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of PR and communication activities in Spain in line with European and global direction.
• Assist with KOL and influencer identification, coordination, and relationship management.
• Support the development and delivery of press events, showroom initiatives, and brand activations.
• Work closely with the PR agency on day‑to‑day coordination, showroom planning, and campaign execution.
• Help manage media relations activities, including press lists, sample coordination and outreach support.
• Assist with operational tasks such as tracking coverage, updating reports, and maintaining PR materials and databases.
• Support content coordination and ensure alignment with brand messaging across PR and digital channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support brand visibility and store activity when required.
• Support the development and execution of local partnership plans, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing or a related field.
• Experience or exposure to influencer/KOL management and media relations; agency experience is a strong advantage.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive and hands‑on, with a willingness to take ownership of operational tasks.
• Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Interest in fashion, lifestyle, and cultural trends.
• Familiarity with digital and social platforms is an advantage.
• Fluent Spanish (native level) and strong English communication skills.
