Our client, a leading global ICT service provider, is recruiting for a Infra & Deployment Manager to join their business in Spain .

As a Infrastructure & deployment manager, with working experience of at least 10 years, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10-15 engineers for overseeing the pre-production environments, managing the configuration management process and tools and overseeing the overall deployments across domains within the BSS &  OSS of telecom. The role overall is multifaceted, requiring a blend of technical expertise, managerial skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to changing technological landscapes. Experience working in telecom service providers is added advantage

Key responsibilities 

Environments

• Provide the necessary infrastructure and environments for development &  testing.
  

• Collaborate with deployment and development teams to define infrastructure requirements
  

• Implement and maintain the deployment infrastructure and platforms.
  

• Monitors the health and performance of deployed applications and infrastructure.
  

• Assists in troubleshooting and resolving deployment-related incidents or outages
  

• Collaborates with teams, such as development, operations, and testing, to streamline &  improve the environment stability
  

• Coordination with Operations for infrastructure and communications requirements
  

Deployment

• Responsible for overall coordination and management of the deployment process.
  

• Oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of deployments. Ensure the correct stability of the application sw after the deployments in each of the environments
  

• Ensures alignment with project timelines, objectives, and stakeholder expectations. Manages risks, issues, and dependencies related to deployments.
  

• Collaborates with teams, such as development, operations, and testing, to streamline &  improve the deployment process
  

• Active participation in weekly remote CABs (Change Authorisation Committees). Management of implementation requests, ensuring the correct recording of deliverables and tasks in the corresponding tools
  

Required Skills

• Technical knowledge across various IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud services, and security.
  

• Worked in waterfall &  agile methodologies, good communication skills, cross-team collaboration &  stakeholder management.
  

• Proficiency in troubleshooting infrastructure &  deployment issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions swiftly to minimize downtime or disruptions
  

• Administration, Configuration, Implementation of CI-CD pipeline &  deployment using tools : Git, Bitbucket, Maven, SVN, Jenkins, Ansible
  

• Knowledge &  experience of working with tools ALM, Jira, Confluence, Source Code Quality Management Tool, Dynatrace, Kibana
  

• Spanish and English fluent
