Procurement Transformation Lead

Purpose of the role

We are seeking a highly accomplished, top-tier media procurement expert to design and drive the end-to-end sourcing process and category strategy for marketing goods and services. This critical role demands a deep understanding of the complex global media landscape, specifically covering Media, Creative Agencies, Research & Insight, IFE (In-Flight Entertainment), and Digital Marketing. Working closely with senior stakeholders (both internal and external), you will act as a strategic advisor to standardise specifications, design sophisticated sourcing strategies, analyse complex RFP outputs, and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements. This role commands all sourcing processes globally within the category, with key strategic imperatives being:

Your responsibilities

Developing and executing a sophisticated, forward‑thinking category strategy, taking full ownership of complex end‑to‑end sourcing lifecycles; orchestrating high‑value RFP processes (specs, structure, premium supplier selection, milestones, and advanced evaluation criteria); driving robust negotiations with tier‑one suppliers on all commercial terms; cultivating and managing influential, strategic partnerships with key stakeholder groups at the executive level (within and outside of Group Procurement); overseeing rigorous contract delivery management to ensure maximum value extraction and performance; relentlessly monitoring delivery against PRF commitments in close collaboration with OpCos; directing and facilitating comprehensive financial and media auditing processes to ensure absolute transparency and optimisation of media spend; ensuring the meticulous collection and reconciliation of AVBs and related media value; expertly negotiating complex FTE rates, agency commissions, and pioneering alternative commercial models as the market evolves; leading strategic Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to drive continuous improvement and agency accountability; applying your high‑level expertise to other critical marketing contracts across the full spectrum, including Media, Creative Agencies, Research & Insight, IFE, and Digital Marketing.

Your skills, experience and qualifications

An exceptional, proven track record in end‑to‑end procurement within a complex matrix organisation, characterised by high‑stakes negotiations, meticulous contract drafting, and the ability to operate autonomously with high‑level strategic vision; authoritative and demonstrable expertise in leading high‑profile, international Media and Marketing procurement projects; deep, insider knowledge of Media Agency operations, commercial models, and trading practices; exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders, align diverse viewpoints, gain rapid consensus, and dismantle barriers to cross‑functional success; bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (both strictly mandatory); willingness to travel and operate seamlessly in a multi‑site, international environment.
