Account Executive - Spain, Barcelona

OVRSEA’s mission is to simplify and modernize international freight forwarding through technology and outstanding service. We coordinate the transport of 700+ companies across 60 countries, and provide our clients with a unique platform that gives clients full visibility over their shipments, faster and more accurate quoting, and centralized access to tracking, documentation, and reporting.

 

What is it like being an AE at OVRSEA?

You will be joining a dynamic sales team, a team that is the engine of our growth, and where there is a strong emphasis on pedagogy and teamwork. As an Account Executive, you will be in charge of managing your own portfolio, from closing a prospect to nurturing a long-lasting relationship. You will be highly autonomous and will contribute to changing the way goods are transported around the world, while always putting your customer first.

 

Challenges for the Sales team in 2026:

- Continue our strong two-digit growth with an ambitious plan.

- Acquiring mid-cap & key account clients and new verticals.

 

Your missions:

- Develop a portfolio of SME and mid-cap customers with recurring international flows.

- Uphold a consultative approach: understand clients’ pain points and needs, and identify how our platform and services can help them in the best way possible.

- Collaborate effectively across internal teams, especially with our operational teams, to ensure a smooth experience for our clients and to solve issues early on.

- Spot and qualify potential upsell and contribute directly to our company’s growth.

- Gain deep industry knowledge and become an expert on both international transportation and your customer’s business to become their trusted advisor.

OVRSEA offers a structured and comprehensive onboarding program covering both transport fundamentals and advanced sales methodologies. You will work closely with our General Manager, Sales team, and Operations teams, benefiting from continuous feedback and mentorship to refine your commercial and industry expertise.

The Account Executive role offers strong career progression opportunities as the Spanish market scales. You can develop toward Senior AE roles, Key Account Management, or eventually leadership positions, with the ability to influence strategy and shape our commercial organization.

 

Are you The One ?

- You have 2+ years of experience in B2B sales & are comfortable managing a full sales cycle

- You have already experienced & enjoy working in a fast-paced & target-driven environment

- Proven demonstration of excellent communication skills, drive & customer-centric mindset

- You have great interpersonal skills and excel at active listening

- You are curious and excited to learn everything about the world of transportation

- Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English
