IoT Product Lead

We are looking for an IoT Product Lead to be part of our Nestlé Nes presso Digital Team. At Nespresso, our Digital team is at the heart of our innovation journey, a space where we continue to invest, evolve, and grow.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced IoT Product Lead to define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Nespresso's Smart Machines ecosystem, spanning connected coffee machines, companion mobile applications, backend services, and emerging digital experiences.

This role combines strategic leadership with end-to-end product accountability, which means that this role also demands hands‑on dedication. The Product Lead will shape the future of connected coffee experiences while ensuring successful delivery of critical initiatives including the Recipe Platform, Mobile App Strategy, chatbot implementation, and the sustainment of existing Vertuo Line digital services.

The ideal candidate is a strong product leader capable of translating long-term vision into actionable roadmaps, influencing senior stakeholders (strong negotiator profile), and orchestrating cross-functional teams across hardware, software, data, and commercial domains, including experience with aftersales and client support.

Currently, there is a main initiative which connects coffee machine with extended digital experience. It requires a deep integration into Nespresso eco‑system with 30+ different systems and points of integration.

In This Role, You Will:

• Define and evolve the long-term vision for the Smart Machines ecosystem
• Own the strategic roadmap
• Balance consumer needs, technical capabilities, and business priorities
• Identify opportunities for new digital services, value-added experiences, and revenue streams
• Drive portfolio decisions based on consumer insights, telemetry data, market trends, and innovation opportunities
• Own the global Smart Machines product roadmap
• Translate strategy into measurable outcomes, business cases, and delivery plans.
• Lead prioritization across machine, application, backend, connectivity, and cloud services.
• Ensure alignment between short-term delivery objectives and long-term product ambitions.
• Govern investment choices, value realization, and roadmap trade-offs

Stakeholder Management & Governance

• Act as the primary representative of Smart Machines products across the organization.
• Align senior leadership, market stakeholders, engineering teams, and external partners around a shared vision.
• Establish governance structures that enable efficient decision‑making.
• Communicate roadmap progress, risks, opportunities, and business impact to leadership.
• Build strong partnerships across, Product, Engineering, UX, Data & Analytics, Operations, Marketing

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Leverage Machine telemetry, App analytics, Consumer behavior insights, Operational performance data
• Define and monitor KPIs
• Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based prioritization.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years in Product Management, with considerable experience working with IoT products.
• Experience managing connected‑device ecosystems with native applications.
• Proven track record owning strategic roadmaps and large‑scale digital products.
• Experience leading global initiatives involving hardware and software products.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and complex stakeholder networks.
