Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Site Managers for Electrical and Mechanical Installations to join our client’s team in Barbados. The successful candidates will oversee and manage all aspects of electrical and mechanical installations for diverse construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical or mechanical installation activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage and lead a team of electricians, mechanics, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing electrical or mechanical installations, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
• Experience working with installation companies is essential; experience with construction companies alone is not sufficient.
• Experience in hotel, hospital, school, or residential construction projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is essential, as it is the primary language in Barbados.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Barbados for the duration of the project.
