Marketing & Activations Intern

We are one of the fastest growing companies around and are constantly looking to improve our brand language in order to keep proving ourselves as one of the most innovative hotel brands out there. We’ll need you to take our brand language to the next level — of course while keeping the playful, quirky and experimental approach. You’ll will be working with a very diverse creative team of Designers, Social Media Managers, Content Creators, PR Managers and more.

Located in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You'll Do

• Write copy for a variety of media including social, video and offline prints.
• Work together with the Head of Communications, PR and Social Media Manager on the overall content strategy & brand language that covers all our products (hotel, short stay, semester stay, co working, F&B).
• Assist the marketing team in events and press activations.
• Collaborate with PR and marketing team to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials.
• Produce long copy (newsletters, brochures, and press release) as well as short copy (social media / marketing campaigns).
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere.

Who You Are

• You're a student! You're currently enrolled in university and you can have an internship agreement from your School/University.
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field.
• You have some experience in copywriting.
• You have an ability to fact check long-form content pieces.
• You have excellent writing and editing skills in English and Spanish, producing concise and grammatically correct copy.
• You understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You're able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
• You're able to see other people's points of view and accept feedback.
• You have an eye for detail.
• You're legally allowed to work in Spain. The internship will be on site in our offices in Barcelona.
