Job DescriptionThe position, which reports to the Functional Safety Supervisor, main objectives are:Supervise and support technical topics for safety related for both running projects andRFI/RFQs (Request For Initiation/Quotation)(Mainly systems).
Ensure safety technical compliance and safety package for both running projects and RFI/RFQ.Perform RFQ Gate Review and cost estimationLead and manage Functional Safety team in EU and RabatEnsure lean safety release for productionLead the adoption of safety culture at Lear from technical perspectiveProvide functionalsafety consultancy services to other departments and projectsResponsibilitiesRunning projects and RFI/RFQ support on safety technical solution, including review andconsultancyPerform Safety Assessment and ensure work products timely deliveryDirect contact with customer for technical affairs in RFI/RFQSupport to project execution for the team responsible forSupport to other departmentsISO***** adaptionSupport to other departments on technical solutionsISO***** complianceProvide coaching in Functional SafetyExperienceRequirementsProven previous experience in safety technical activities and work productsgeneration (Systems, HW or SW parts)At least 5 years proven experience in functionalsafety related design activitiesExperience in providing safety related training and/or coachingProficient in ISO*****:**** and ****English language skills are a must, German desirableHigh communication and presentation skillsEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit?based employment practices and equal opportunity.
