The Payroll Consultant – French Market will support French customers throughout the implementation and adoption of Factorial’s Payroll module, ensuring a smooth transition, strong product usage, and ongoing compliance with French labour law and DSN requirements.

About the role

• Support payroll implementations end‑to‑end: guide French clients through the implementation and adoption of Factorial’s Payroll module, ensuring a smooth transition and strong product usage.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for French payroll: deeply understand client processes, French payroll requirements, DSN obligations, conventions collectives, and compliance workflows to tailor solutions to each organisation.
• Deliver consultative payroll enablement: support payroll setup across time management, employee data, contract types, integrations, and compliance workflows, always adapting configuration to real business needs.
• Train and advise client teams: deliver training sessions, share best practices, and support payroll teams in automating and scaling their processes.
• Identify risks, edge cases, and improvements: detect complex payroll scenarios, propose solutions or workarounds, and escalated when needed to ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Product: act as a bridge between clients and Product teams by sharing insights on French payroll rules and recurring customer pain points, and participate in testing and feature validation.
• Build long‑term customer partnerships: support clients beyond go‑live, ensuring ongoing compliance with French labour law, DSN requirements, and audit readiness.
• Work cross‑functionally: collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and implementation partners to ensure a consistent, high‑quality customer journey.

Your Profile

• Strong knowledge of French payroll processes, conventions collectives, DSN handling, and local compliance requirements.
• Expert‑level French and fluent English communication skills.
• Experience supporting clients or implementing SaaS/ERP/HRIS tools, or working in a consulting environment.
• Analytical mindset capable of translating business processes into product configuration.
• Fast learner, comfortable keeping up with product evolution.
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership of projects.
• Tech‑savvy with a consulting mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with French payroll tools such as Sage, Silae, ADP, or similar.
• Background in HRIS, payroll digitisation, or process automation.
• Experience building or delivering scalable service packages.
