The Role: Defining Character Volume

Please note that this is not a 3D lighting role . We are looking for an artist who understands the nuance of 2D character lighting . You will be responsible for defining the volume and atmosphere of our characters, ensuring that every frame possesses the depth and emotional resonance that defines The SPA Studios’ signature look.

Key Responsibilities

• Character Lighting: Apply your strong sense of light, shadow, and volume to characters, ensuring consistency and emotional impact throughout the production.
• Visual Storytelling: Use your background in illustration, concept art, or colorkeying to elevate the visual quality of our scenes.
• Workflow Management: Manage your daily tasks efficiently, ensuring that high-quality results are delivered on schedule.
• Collaboration: Work within our production team to maintain aesthetic continuity and contribute to the overall visual vision of the project.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an artist who brings a strong foundation in visual arts and a passion for 2D animation:

• Artistic Foundation: A robust background in illustration, colorkey design, concept art, or character art is essential. You must have a deep understanding of how light interacts with form.
• Technical Proficiency: While a general artistic background is key, proficiency in vector-based software is considered a strong plus.
