As a Strategic Equity Derivatives Trader, you will play a key role within our Global Markets business, managing the market risk of the Strategic Equity Derivatives trading desk while delivering pricing and execution across a range of equity derivative products for institutional and corporate clients. This is a global role, working closely with colleagues across our international trading platform to provide best-in-class client solutions while maintaining robust risk management standards. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: * Managing the market risk of the Strategic Equity Derivatives trading book in line with the desk's risk appetite and limits. * Pricing and executing Strategic Equity Derivatives transactions for institutional and corporate clients. * Working closely with Sales, Structuring, Risk, Quants and other Global Markets teams to deliver tailored client solutions. * Collaborating with trading teams across our global platform to ensure consistent pricing, risk management and client coverage. * Monitoring market developments, identifying trading opportunities and implementing effective hedging strategies. * Contributing to the continued development of the Strategic Equity Derivatives franchise through product expertise, innovation and process improvements. * Maintaining the highest standards of governance, control and risk management while supporting the growth of the business. **WHAT YOU’LL BRING** Our people are our greatest strength. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Professional Experience** * Minimum of 2 years' experience in a trading role within Global Markets. (Required) * Experience trading equity derivatives and managing market risk. (Required) * Experience with Strategic Equity Derivatives products or structured equity solutions. (Preferred) **Education** * University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline. (Required) * Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc or CFA) is advantageous. (Preferred) **Languages** * English (Required) * Spanish (Preferred) **Hard Skills** * Strong understanding of equity derivatives, pricing and market risk management. (Required) * Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills. (Required) * Programming knowledge (Python, VBA or similar) and experience with trading analytics tools.
