Job Description Who will you be working with?
The Integrated Quality Systems Manager reports to the Quality Director & HSE and collaborates with Site Director and cross-functional teams to drive strategy and continuous improvement, manage Risks, and maintain compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
You will lead a team of quality, safety, environmental, and energy management professionals, including Engineers, Auditors, and Technicians.

The Integrated Quality Systems Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's integrated management system, ensuring compliance with IRIS *****, ISO *****, ISO *****, ISO ***** standards in addition to other normative or requirements such as EEM (European Entity in Charge of Maintenance).
This role ensures that all processes, products, and services meet the highest quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management standards.
What will your typical day look like?
Integrated Management System (IMS): Develop, implement, and manage the IMS to ensure compliance with IRIS *****, ISO *****, ISO *****, ISO *****, Wabtec's WMS and other relevant standards.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the IMS, covering quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management systems.
Lead the internal audit program, including planning, execution, and follow-up on corrective actions across all relevant standards.
Maintain all quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management documentation, records, and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Keep informed of the Safety, Environment and Quality Management System methodologies and assure ease of implementation for the relevant content and the reliability of the products required by customers Maintain the IMS updated according to Wabtec standards to allow costs for the execution of the Projects deadlines and reach optimum levels.
Represent the management of the company during certification process or surveillance audits regarding ISO's, Special Process or External Audits.
Coordinate with Management and ensure documentation related to the organization's Management Review and Business Plan - STRAP (context review, system and stakeholder changes, area and Site SWOTs, risk and opportunity management, changes or new developments in legal and other requirements, customer feedback, etc.).
IRIS ***** Specific Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the IRIS ***** rail industry standard.
Ensure that all rail-related processes meet the quality and safety requirements specific to the rail industry.
Collaborate with relevant departments and functions in Wabtec to meet the specific demands and expectations of rail industry customers.
ISO ***** Specific Responsibilities: Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with ISO *****.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification processes to mitigate potential workplace risks.
Promote a culture of safety and ensure that health and safety objectives are established and met.
ISO ***** Specific Responsibilities: Develop and implement environmental management policies, procedures, and programs in line with ISO *****.
Ensure that environmental objectives are established, monitored, and achieved, including waste management, pollution, prevention, and resource conservation.

Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption.
Establish energy performance indicators (En PIs) and drive continuous improvement in energy management.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management.
Stay updated on changes in industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and external auditors as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy performance.
Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for any issues related to the IMS.
Customer Interaction: Collaborate with Sales team in the annual Customer Survey process in order to understand their requirements and expectations and manage internal action plan emanated from their feedback.Undefined Health and Safety Management: Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with local regulations and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including those specific to the railway sector.
Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Develop and enforce risk management strategies to minimize accidents and incidents.
Training and Development: Aligned with Wabtec processes, tools and guidelines, design and deliver awareness training programs on health and safety practices, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Ensure locally mandated health and safety training for all employees according to Wabtec Iberica scope of activities.
Incident Management: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Maintain detailed records of incidents and ensure proper reporting to relevant authorities.
Regulatory Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required.
Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices, and adjust policies accordingly.
Safety Culture Promotion: Foster a positive safety culture by engaging with employees, encouraging feedback, and promoting safe working practices.
Lead safety meetings and collaborate with various departments to address health and safety concerns.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management strategies.
Conduct regular drills and simulations to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
What do we want to know from you?
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, environmental science.
Master in occupational health and safety, energy management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, health and safety, environmental management, energy management, or a similar role.
Key Competencies Quality Systems (ISO ****, ISO IRIS *****) EHS Systems (ISO *****, ISO *****, ISO *****) Experience with integrated management systems and internal/external auditing processes.
Problem-solving (FTA, 8 D, RCA..) Knowledge of the APQP – Project Management EEM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) System is a plus Health and safety regulations and risk assessment methodologies Coordination of Entrepreneurial Activities (CAEs) Office Suite – Excel and Power Point.
