Custom Solutions Specialist Sabadell Office (Barcelona, Spain)

As a Custom Solutions Specialist at Lesterius, you help organisations improve how they work through smart use of technology.

You take on different roles depending on the project, from analysing business needs and advising clients to designing and developing solutions. You work closely with customers to understand their processes and translate them into practical, sustainable solutions.

You focus on understanding the problem first, applying the right approach to deliver results, and guiding clients as technologies like AI reshape how software is created.

What your role looks like

You will work on a variety of projects, where your role can range from consultant to developer, depending on the needs of the client and the project phase.

Typically, you will:

• Analyse client needs by understanding processes, data, and workflows
• Translate business challenges into structured solution proposals
• Design and implement custom applications and integrations
• Work together with clients to develop solutions that fit their operations
• Support and guide customers who build or maintain their own solutions
• Advise on the use of technologies such as AI and low-code platforms
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure solutions are maintainable and scalable

You will be part of an international team and will occasionally collaborate with colleagues across Europe.

What we expect from you

• You are a strong problem solver with an interest in business processes
• You are comfortable working across different roles, from analysis and consulting to development
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You have experience analysing business needs and translating them into solutions
• You have a solid technical background (Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience)
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in software or solution development
• You have experience with databases, custom software, and API integrations
• You understand the impact of AI on software development and are interested in applying it in practice
• You work in a structured way, aligning with team standards so others can understand and build upon your work
• You have a good command of English (mandatory, written and spoken), as you will work in an international environment
• Experience with Claris FileMaker
• Familiarity with integration standards such as oData
• Experience in system integrations or multi-system environments
