Energy Engineer

We are now looking for an Energy Engineer to join our Madrid office and support industrial clients in energy efficiency, sustainability and decarbonization projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with early professional experience who wants to grow within industrial energy and EPCM projects.

Responsibilities

• Supporting energy efficiency and sustainability projects in industrial environments.
• Assisting in energy audits, technical assessments and data analysis.
• Participating in industrial utilities and process optimization studies.
• Supporting carbon reduction and energy transition initiatives.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and suppliers.
• Participating in site visits and client meetings.
• Assisting in technical and economic evaluations of engineering solutions.
• Preparing technical documentation and project reports.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in energy efficiency, process engineering, sustainability or energy‑related projects; internship experience in industrial environments will also be considered.
• Exposure or interest in:
  • Thermal systems
  • HVAC and refrigeration
  • Energy efficiency
  • Process optimization
  • Industrial sustainability and decarbonization
• Experience with tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Power BI, SCADA/BMS or energy simulation software is a plus.
• Languages: Professional English and Spanish are required; French is a plus.
• Availability to travel up to 35%; driving license; permanent contract; safety, prevention and well‑being basics.
