Lead Backend Engineer - Python Gis (Remote, Flexible Hours)

Gilytics AG is seeking a Backend Lead to own the server-side engine behind Pathfinder, including geoprocessing, spatial data APIs, and backend services.
This is a hands-on senior role reporting to the CTO.
Strong ownership and collaboration across frontend, Dev Ops and GIS Data teams are essential.
The role emphasizes architectural work, code reviews, mentoring, and the ability to integrate AI into the backend.
