Role Overview

A Solution Advisor works closely with customers and prospects to identify and solve business challenges using SAP solutions. As part of the sales team, the advisor is the subject‑matter expert responsible for functional and technical knowledge throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery sessions, executive meetings and presentations.
• Deliver software demonstrations to illustrate SAP’s value proposition.
• Support marketing events to generate demand, conduct Design Thinking sessions, and collaborate with the broader sales team to identify whitespace opportunities.
• Assist with request for proposals and other deal‑execution support.
• Lead customer discovery sessions and survey activities after program completion to uncover business challenges and opportunities for innovation.
• Create and deliver high‑impact software demonstrations that differentiate SAP from competitors.

Program Details

The SAP Academy for Customer Success is a 10‑month, full‑time development program that combines experiential learning, on‑the‑job training under a senior mentor, and real‑world customer experience. Participants will spend 4 weeks (across two trips) in San Ramon, California, for intensive hands‑on learning.

The program will run on a hybrid work model: three days per week in the office or on‑site with customers or partners. Key dates and travel schedule are provided at program launch.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–3 years of professional experience with a strong foundation in technical and business processes.
• Experience with relevant technologies and industry‑standard tools supporting solution delivery.
• Proven customer‑facing skills and a cooperative, productive mindset.
• Rapid learning ability, adaptability, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics, including AI adoption, agentic AI practice, and context engineering.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of business processes or industries.
• Fluency in English for global engagement.
• Strong problem‑solving, project‑management, creative thinking, and communication skills.
• Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness supporting inclusive teamwork.
