Senior ERP Finance Functional Expert

This role sits within the Finance & LEX stream of Business Solutions team at Opella Digital. Main responsibilities:

• Drive the functional transformation of the Finance domain during the global SAP S/4HANA rollout across multiple countries
• Act as the main Finance point of contact, connecting Finance stakeholders, Digital teams, and project leaders
• Ensure global process harmonization by applying and protecting the Finance core model and standards
• Translate business needs into clear, scalable functional solutions through workshops and collaborative design sessions
• Support ERP delivery activities from design to go‑live, including testing phases and hypercare
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure Finance solutions integrate smoothly with other business systems
• Contribute to governance, decision‑making, and continuous improvement of the Finance ERP landscape

About you:

• Experience leading or contributing to SAP Finance and ERP transformation programmes, ideally within complex, international organisations.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Finance processes, including financial reporting, controlling, treasury, tax, and core record‑to‑report activities.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Finance solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and related Finance capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively across business, technology, and leadership teams, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Self‑directed and comfortable taking ownership of initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent in English.
