We are looking for a Mid-Senior Java Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients in the banking sector. Location: Hybrid in Madrid (3x2) Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain IT services, including integration with other systems and infrastructure
• Develop solutions on the Java technology stack, with integration of business rule services
• Implement and maintain interfaces using REST web services
• Integrate and develop using the Actico Platform and Visual Rules (Actico Rules)
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including operation and maintenance of IT services

Mandatory requirements:

• University degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Extensive experience in Java system engineering and development
• Hands-on experience integrating REST web service technologies and using Eclipse for development and debugging
• Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git), Oracle databases and SQL
• Beneficial: Business Rule Management (modelling, management, and implementation) certifications in Visual Rules / Actico Rules are a plus
• Language skills: fluent English
