Finance Assistant

About the Role

The Finance Assistant supports the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the Finance team by processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate master data, and ensuring the integrity of accounting records. The role involves supporting supplier invoices, expense claims, account reconciliations, month-end closing, and audit preparation. Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily accounting and finance operations.
• Support supplier invoice processing using SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Review, verify, and process employee travel and expense claims in accordance with company policies.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Create and maintain vendor, customer, cost centre and other financial master data in SAP Business One.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and support the preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and properly documented.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice issues and payments.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and procedures.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive attitude with willingness to learn and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role; recent graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is highly desirable.
