Compliance Executive - fintech

RecruitGibraltar are currently recruiting for a Compliance Executive to join a well-established fintech company, who have just received their regulation to operate in Gibraltar. Their technology powers card payments to 1000s of businesses across the UK, and so handles millions of payment transactions.

You must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area for this 100% office based role from 9am - 5pm

What will you do as a Compliance Executive?

Managing the end-to-end onboarding of new customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Carrying out AML, KYC, and customer due diligence checks, including ongoing account reviews and periodic refreshes.
Identifying and escalating potential risks in line with our compliance framework and regulatory obligations.
Providing general customer support as required, acting as a knowledgeable and friendly point of contact.
Supporting the Head of Compliance with wider compliance and operational tasks as the business grows.

What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Executive?

Experience in a compliance role, ideally within the fintech or payments sector, is essential.
Self-motivated, high level of integrity, and comfortable challenging others constructively.
Experience working independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.
Able to balance customer-facing warmth with the rigour that compliance work demands.

Salary circa £30k based on experience.
