The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join a fast-growing international technology consultancy specialised in Data & AI .

The company works with large enterprise clients to design, build and deploy modern data platforms and AI solutions into production. Following significant international growth, the team is continuing to expand across Europe.

As a Data Architect, you will take ownership of the design of scalable, secure and cloud-native data platforms on Microsoft Azure , working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders and senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures covering ingestion, pipelines, storage, modelling and analytics.
• Architect modern data platforms and lakehouse environments on Azure.
• Define data models, architectural standards and best practices.
• Lead technical decisions and evaluate architectural trade-offs.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Modelers and Analytics teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure security, governance, performance and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to the long-term evolution of enterprise data platforms.
• Lead technical discussions with senior client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture and/or Data Engineering.
• Strong experience designing complex, large-scale data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure data technologies.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures and data modelling.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing, analytics and modern data engineering practices.
• Ability to design solutions end-to-end rather than focusing exclusively on implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
