Main Responsibilities of the Position Holder

• Responding to inquiries from Flemish or local companies.
• Proactively gathering information that may be useful for Flemish companies.
• Preparing individual prospecting visits and business development trips.
• Supporting the preparation of policy and budget plans.
• Drafting market and sector studies.
• Participating in trade fairs and events with potential partners.
• Coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing CRM databases and following up on existing business contacts.
• Managing bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Performing translation work.
• Reporting to the Head of Post.
• Carrying out administrative tasks, including reception and telephone support, diary management, archiving, and handling mail.

Profile requirements

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree closely related to the core responsibilities of the position.
• Excellent command of Spanish and Catalan, and a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the Spanish and Flemish economies.
• Basic knowledge of commonly used IT applications.
• Experience working in an international environment.
