As a Research & Intelligence Analyst at SAMY, you'll uncover consumer, cultural, market, and competitive insights that help brands understand their audiences, anticipate trends, and make smarter strategic decisions.

Trends are born overnight, creators shape consumer behaviour, and communities decide what products become tomorrow's icons. Working on this account means having a front-row seat to everything happening across social, culture, creators and innovation.
At SAMY, you'll help global beauty brands stay ahead of what's next.
You'll turn cultural shifts into strategy, identify the creators driving conversations, and build advocacy programmes that connect brands with millions of people in authentic ways.
You'll work at the intersection of social, culture, AI, technology and creativity, where every day brings new trends, new platforms and new opportunities to shape the future of beauty marketing.

Key responsibilities
Use social listening and research tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Synthesio, or NetBase to identify consumer conversations, cultural trends, and competitive intelligence.
Design and execute research projects to support strategic planning, account growth, and new business opportunities.
Develop queries, keyword sets, and research frameworks tailored to specific brands, audiences, and business questions.
Identify emerging trends and cultural shifts, translating them into relevant opportunities and strategic recommendations.
Monitor competitors, categories, and market developments to identify threats, opportunities, and best practices.
Turn research and intelligence into clear reports, presentations, and compelling insight narratives.
Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Account, and Influencer teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Stay up to date with developments across social platforms, digital culture, influencer marketing, and consumer behaviour.
Skills & experience
2+ years of experience in Research, Consumer Insights, Social Intelligence, Social Listening, or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with social listening and research tools.
Strong experience in query setup, keyword selection, data analysis, and insight generation.
Ability to connect consumer and market intelligence with strategic and business outcomes.
Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
Good understanding of digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, and cultural trends.
English full working proficiency (written and verbal).
