About the Role

The APS DP Lead will mature & unlock the untapped potential of our current SAP IBP Demand deployment. Reporting to the Demand Planning & S&O Global Process Lead, this role will drive the functional roadmap from basic data entry to advanced, next-generation predictive forecasting. They will serve as the critical bridge to regional planning teams, driving change management & embedding advanced system capabilities into daily operations to enable exceptional planning performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE Cross Functional Collaboration & Partnerships
• Tech & Data Partnership: Play an active role in shaping the future of Bacardi’s demand planning capabilities by partnering with Tech & Data teams & external partners to adopt next-generation forecasting solutions while improving planning master data quality, KPI consistency and reporting accuracy.
• External Steering: Manage external integration partners to ensure high-quality delivery of advanced configuration
• Data Science Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to embed ML/AI forecasting models
• Technical Direction Setting: Translate business needs into clear requirements for technology teams
• Partner with Data & Technology teams to improve planning master data quality, KPI consistency and reporting accuracy.
• Business Translation: Translate complex technical functionality into clear, actionable business benefits for planners
• Capability Maturation & Next-Gen Forecasting Feature Optimisation: Maximize value from SAP IBP Demand, S&O, exploiting untapped functionalities
• AI/ML Integration: Partner with data science to integrate machine learning & external demand signals into IBP
• Continuous Improvement: Run routine process health checks to identify & fix bottlenecks in system utilisation
• Roadmap Design: Build a phased capability maturity model to transition regions from basic to advanced planning
• Monitor and improve planning performance through Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Value Add (FVA), adoption and process efficiency metrics.
• User Adoption, Competency development & change management
• Change Management: Lead global training & upskilling programs for regional planners
• Drive Adoption: Partner with regional planning leads to eliminate offline spreadsheets & embed IBP usage
• Super-User Network: Nurture a global network of regional IBP champions to sustain best practices, enabling exceptional performance (Projects on-time delivery, FVA, FA, System adoption)
• Documentation: Ensure clear & up to date documentation to support processes and trainings

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

• Excellent technical skills: SAP IBP (preferred) or other Demand planning APS.
• Advanced in excel & Power BI
• IBP Mastery: Deep knowledge of Demand Sensing, statistical forecasting models, and key figure logic
• Advanced Analytics & Data Science: Understanding of AI/ML forecasting techniques, predictive analytics, external demand signals and their deployment within planning processes
• Global Scope: Proven track record managing multi-regional processes & APS, across diverse teams
• Process improvement and lean expertise
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose why current processes are failing and implement structural fixes
• Influencing Skills: Exceptional soft skills to challenge regional legacy habits and inspire tech adoption
