Daylight PMS is a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. It is a solution that allows hotel employees or hotel managers to handle various activities such as managing reservations, payments and hotel services within the hotel or between hotels. The system consists of many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams.

What You6ll Do

• Administering ElasticSearch clusters.
• Designing concepts, building, implementing and developing ElasticSearch component in cooperation with developers and architects.
• Analysis and creation of recommendations for changes of infrastructure in terms of Elasticsearch platform performance.
• Advising developers and architects in the field application and infrastructure development.
• Implementing backup and restore, disaster recovery and business continuity strategies within ElasticSearch clusters.
• Ensuring security of the ElasticSearch.
• Creating and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation of ElasticSearch component and supporting tooling.
• Maintaining the existing infrastructure as code and supporting operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with development teams to provide operational support and optimize system performance.
• Participating in incident management and troubleshooting processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as DevOps / SRE / SysAdmin / Backend Developer.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in deployment, development and maintenance of Elasticsearch platforms in production environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Elasticsearch administration, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and basic networking principles.
• Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus).

Nice to have

• Practical knowledge of AWS services.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Python.
• Elasticsearch certifications.
