Guitar & Bass Transcriber

• Transcribe 100% accurate guitar parts (TAB & sheet music) from a given audio source
• Create publish-ready editions as per current industry standards regarding music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values
• Provide clean, reliable, accurate sheet music deliverables in digital format using standard music notation software

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 100 transcriptions experience (not arrangements) involving guitar
• Have a license and be proficient with at least one of the following music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, Dorico
• Fluent English or Spanish skills
• Strong communication and time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Be able to read, understand and acknowledge our house-style guidebook and onboarding documents. Rabbits! If you just read this, include an animal emoji in your application

Nice-to-haves

• High level of self-discipline
• Be able to transcribe other instruments and genres as well
• Fluent in any other language to transcribe and hyphenate vocals
• Experience collaborating with other musicians and/or clients

Compensation by the hour as per the candidate’s experience and skillset.
