JUNIOR FINANCE & ACCOUNTING ANALYST

THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role offers hands-on exposure to payroll, treasury, accounting, budgeting, and financial planning across multiple jurisdictions.

You will not only support day-to-day financial operations, but also gain visibility into the company’s budget, cost control strategy, and financial decision-making processes. This is a great opportunity to understand how finance directly supports business growth.

Location : Barcelona (onsite).
Duration : 6-month contract with potential for renewal based on performance and business needs.
Hours : 30-40 per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Treasury & Payroll

• Coordinate payroll inputs and support monthly payroll execution (Spain & France).

• Ensure timely payment of taxes and social security contributions.

• Manage supplier payments, credit lines, and operational disbursements.

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Coordinate with external accountants to supervise general ledger reconciliation.

• Collect and validate cost documentation for accurate processing.

• Manage client invoicing, monitor accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding balances.

Budgeting, Cost Control & Financial Analysis

• Support monitoring of the company budget and cost controlling initiatives.

• Assist in tracking financial performance versus budget.

• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and dashboards.

• Support the development of financial models for planning and decision-making.

Administration & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliant contract and document management.

• Support operational efficiency initiatives and ad-hoc finance projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Fluent in English and Spanish (C1 or higher).

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Proficient in G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

• Experience with Holded or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Important note: You must currently be pursuing a degree or have recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
