External Segment Leader - ETICS & Flat Roofs
Location: Madrid, Spain; Bristol, GB; Avignon, FR; Ratingen, DE. Preferred location: Madrid, Spain, but we welcome applications from candidates based in Belgium, France, Germany, or the UK. Regular travel across Europe required.
We’re seeking a commercially driven Segment Leader to define and execute the growth strategy for ETICS and Flat Roof solutions globally, with an initial focus on Europe. The role operates in an international matrix organization and involves influencing stakeholders across countries and functions to accelerate growth and strengthen market positioning.
What you’ll do
- Define and deploy the global segment strategy for ETICS and Flat Roof solutions, focusing initially on Europe.
- Own the growth and sales success of the external segment, driving revenue, market penetration, and business growth targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and value propositions to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with country leaders, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution and commercial excellence.
- Act as the subject‑matter expert for ETICS, facades, and external insulation systems.
- Drive product development and innovation initiatives, translating market trends and customer feedback into differentiated solutions.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience with ETICS, external insulation, and/or flat roofing.
- Demonstrated ability to drive segment sales performance and business growth with a strong commercial mindset; track record of developing and executing strategies that deliver revenue and market share.
- Proven success in developing and executing commercial, category, or segment growth strategies across international markets.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer buying behavior, specification‑driven sales, and competitor positioning.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving market expansion, business development, and profitable growth.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead within a matrix and international environment.
- Fluent English; excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship‑building skills; additional European languages advantageous.
