In this role you design, validate, and optimize electrical systems for Tesla’s Tilburg production lines. You drive the control architecture, safety, and reliability of high‑voltage equipment, blending engineering with hands‑on commissioning on the shop floor. You lead electrical design, compliance, and retrofits to improve machine performance and energy efficiency, partnering with cross‑functional teams to scale automation. Your work directly supports safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing. This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven opportunity in a fast‑paced environment.

• Lead electrical design and compliance for industrial control panels (CE, Low Voltage Directive, EMC)
• Create and own end‑to‑end electrical schematics (EPLAN Electric P8) and manage cabinet builds/wiring
• Develop PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and automation integration to improve cycle times and data capture
• Engineer electrical retrofits for conveyors, actuators, and testers to boost reliability and energy efficiency
• Define electrical and safety hardware standards for vendors and ensure seamless integration
• Architect and validate redundant safety systems (SIL/PL) to mitigate HV battery and high‑speed motion hazards
• Perform root cause analysis using electrical tools (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal imaging) and data software (Minitab/JMP)

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Automation Engineering
• 3+ years in industrial electrical design in high‑volume manufacturing xqbhyrx or custom machine building
• Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8
• Knowledge of NEN 1010 / NEN 3140 standards and European Machinery Directives
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens (TIA Portal) or Rockwell PLC environments
• Knowledge of CAN, EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP networking
• Strong understanding of LV/HV components, DAQ systems, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, safety controllers
• First‑principles problem solving and willingness to work on equipment on the shop floor
