Creative Developer - Mobile Games (Freelance)

Mission As a Creative Developer , you will sit at the intersection of game development, creative production, and performance marketing. Your mission is to use Unity and C# to rapidly modify existing games, prototype new gameplay ideas, and build tools that help the Creative team produce and test high-performing ads faster. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Modify and prototype gameplay in Unity: new mechanics, visuals, features, UI, cameras, and gameplay variations
• Build tools for Creative teams: create flexible Unity apps and internal tools for video and playable-ad production
• Produce rapid iterations: create multiple game variations to test hooks, mechanics, visuals, and player experiences
• Own technical quality: debug, fix issues, optimize performance, and ensure features work reliably
• Iterate from performance data: use ad results and learnings to improve creative concepts and gameplay
• Contribute to ideation: participate in brainstorming and propose new gameplay, creative, and technical ideas
• Explore new technologies: leverage AI, and emerging tools to increase production speed and creativity

Contract setup: This is a full-time freelance opportunity, structured around project needs, with flexible duration depending on the scope and evolution of the projects. Requirements We are looking for someone with years of experience as a Creative Developer or Unity Developer in mobile games. You're a great fit if you have:

• Strong Unity + C# expertise , confidently modifying existing games, gameplay, mechanics, visuals, and features while debugging and optimizing your work

• Creative + technical mindset , able to turn creative ideas into engaging gameplay variations, prototypes, and high-performing ad concepts quickly
• Strong mobile gaming and creative understanding , with a player-centric approach and knowledge of performance creatives, playable ads, and social/mobile ad trends
• Fast prototyping and iteration skills , balancing speed and quality in a high-volume, test-and-learn creative environment
• Autonomous and collaborative approach , working closely with Creative, Game Dev, and UA teams and using performance data to iterate on concepts
• Bonus: experience with AI-assisted creative/development workflows , Blender, Photoshop, shaders, VFX, or building Unity tools for Creative teams
