Project Manager - Electrical – Lead and deliver electrical engineering packages for mission‑critical data center projects.

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Electrical to oversee power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and electrical safety compliance across our data center projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end‑to‑end electrical scope of data center projects including HV/LV power distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators, and associated systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, construction, operations) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, vendors) to ensure project alignment.
• Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools.
• Ensure adherence to electrical engineering best practices, local codes, safety standards, and client‑specific guidelines.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and productivity on site.
• Track project costs, approve invoices, and manage change orders.
• Conduct regular site visits, project status meetings, and coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project reports.
• Provide technical expertise in resolving electrical‑related issues and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of electrical project management experience, ideally within data center or mission‑critical projects.
• Expert knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear.
• Familiarity with local codes and international standards.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Knowledge of energy efficiency measures and sustainable design practices.
• Effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work on‑site and travel as needed.
• Previous experience working in fast‑growing, international environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
